Show me exactly where he mentions anything about hydraulic lifters, and where he talks about what head mods he is planning on running: "Some info I just got from the guys at JWT. I just placed the order for my ECU to get it's upgrades. Having the 740cc injectors, dual pops, AIV removed and the rev limiter moved up. I asked about the Rev limiter to be moved to 8000rpm's. He said that if I asked to have it moved to that, that JWT will add a disclaimer to my order saying it's not covered by them, due to valuetrain possible damage. He said they'll move it to whatever I want, it just want be covered. So I asked what's their limit for it to be covered, he said 7950. So what's 50 damn rpm's, lol? So 7950rpm's is what it will be. I asked about going the AFC dual MAS system. He said it could open up to a whole other bunch of issues not letting the ECU control all the functions of air and fuel, yet you can calibrate the fuel with the AFC that is fine. He also said even with built heads you wouldn't want to go up in the 8000+ rpm range, even with Sport 700bb's. Not sure if the law of practice there is still like it always has been ( conservative ). Just some few notes on what's being passed at JWT and for those looking to do something big with the car. Still $100 for any and all upgrades done at the same time to the Stg III ecu. " MikeH's post was irrelevant to the point ZBlackTT was making. ZBlackTTs post was about how it's "funny" that will cover 7950RPM, but not 8000RPM.
