Message Never really made a thread about it and honestly, I just wanted a Z-related way to tell Halo the Spurs blow ;) Just playin...no Laker thread stuff here!

Anyway, I posted some pics of the battery itself in this thread the other day, but here's a few snapshots of it installed. The color matches my car nearly perfectly. The black will look great on just about any color. Also, as someone mentioned, they'll be available with or without the logo. Pricing and stuff will come very soon as I think Greg is still figuring that out. I was just lucky to be there when they came in. With any luck it wont be copied within 2 weeks :/

Just to recap the older post. It saves ~35lbs compared to the standard Optima batteries and more importantly for me, it takes weight off the front (where our bias is on these cars). Batteries like these aren't rated in CCA but in amp hours and the other similar batteries on the market like the Hawker are rated at 16 amp hours whereas this one is 20 amp hours. As my big stereo system runs off the alternator once the car is running, I've had no issues at all and she starts the same as before. It may not be for everyone, but if you're looking to shave weight with a drop-in solution and no real disadvantages, this is a great way to do it. And I just sold my old Optima for $60 to my neighbor :)
