Message	higher than what he paid you. Otherwise he gets to drive your car for ? months AND make money? No way I'd do that for anyone. At least buy it back for $1k or so lower than his purchase price, and see that as rent that guy paid you. Moreover, it's him who wants to sell the car, not you approaching him first asking to buy the car back right?
