Message TargetZ is spot-on.

Actually, the fact is, in a solid relationship, it takes two "yes's" and one "no" when it comes to important decisions. This does not mean that the "no" is used as a tool to manipulate or spite, but that the "no" is founded on legitimate concerns, and is honored out of respect for the relationship, not disregarded due to manly self-interest.

This perspective has worked for my wife and I for almost 10 years and running, and I manage to have my toys while still respecting her wishes and, in many cases, curbing my wants and needs. She is in the same position.

Some of y'all think it is tough with the wife? Try having another female in the picture - the daughter. There's a new boss in town, and she's 5 months old and does not take no for an answer.
