as a matter of fact, a healthy E36 M3 has no problem outrunning a G35 coupe stock for stock. Also, a turbo motor responds very differently to throttle input than a naturally aspirated motor, that's what makes it a toss up.....different driver's prefer different types of engines. Me personally, I find an efficient, high-revving naturally aspirated motor with a healthy powerband (not an S2000) more impressive than a twinturbo monster dyno queen that puts out the numbers but has zero driveability. Anyway, it all boils down to personal preference.
