Message I currently own a 90' TT that i picked up for around $8k last year. I am the 3rd owner and bought the car with 87k miles (it now has 90k). I have had the car for over a year and a half and it has had its twerks (ex. car wanting to stall sometymes when a/c is on, and having a few electrical problems) but for the most part runs good and is good condition. The oil leaks are goin to cost me (as quoted from my local Nissan dealership) $3000 dollars to fix b/c of their locations the engine needs to be removed. As of recently my steering had alot of "play" in it and come to find out i need new steering bushings which im getting taken care of right now which will cost me around $600. I am thinking that not to far down the road i am goin to have replace my alternator as well, which i believe runs for around $200. My question is this: Should I put all this $$$ into this Z and hope that after these things are done the car will be fine? or Should I sell this Z and get another TT with lower miles and is in good condition? I have my opinion but i just wanted to hear what some of you who have been around Z's longer and have worked on them have to say. Thanx in advance for your advice/opinion.
