What do you mean by rumors? What have you heard? We have run these caravans for Club Z for few years. I usually volunteer to take the back to make sure no one is left behind. We use radios to communicate. Since caravanning that many cars is difficult and often the person in the front can not hear me from the back, we have people spread along the caravan that can update the lead car with their radios. Usually if someone has a problem, at least one of us pulls over with them, or if it is the bathroom run or need for gas, they point to one of us who has a radio and we inform others as to what is happening and why is that person leaving the caravan. If it is a major issue as it happened one of the time, when someone’s tranny or clutch was smoking, the whole caravan pulled over. Even with all the stops we still made it to all of our appointments. As far as, the UZW being rush-rush, well, yes. Since there are so many things to do and so many places to see, we have to cramp as many opportunities as we can in one trip. But we still give ourselves enough time to relax at the end of the night. Ultimate Z Weekends had been some of the most memorable times of my life. It is amazing seeing that many cars in a row watching people’s reactions, all the talks on the radio, bashing, jokes, and normal chatter helps the drive a lots of fun and helps time pass a lot quicker. But over all, UZW is not for faint hearts. It is not a vacation, but it is one of the most exciting events that I have attended and run. Can't wait for this years...
