so if the rumors you hear said that we all jump off the bridge would you believe that too??? I am sick and tired of people spreading these rumors!!! We take our safety very seriously and who ever is spreading these false rumors is FOS!!! Did that person also tell you that we are riding around on a million $$$ plus insurance policy??? Did that person tell you that when you caravan 23 cars at the same time with an average speed of 75 mph and you are in the back that it will seem like we are doing over 100 mph??? Did the person that is talking all this smack offer to step up to the plate and put this whole thing together??? Do you know how hard it is to put something like this together and the amount of effort that is involved??? Are people that scared of getting lost??? I have run these things from the front and the back of the pack and there have been times where I have gotten lost but that is what the detailed directions and maps are for! We give out details of every location that we go to. So whoever has some smack to talk, I would like to see that person step up to the plate and run UZW! Speedyzx, myself, and a huge number of other people have put alot of our personal time into this so if anyone has any more problems with it and wants to spread false rumors you just tell them that they are more than welcome to step up to the plate and run this show! That also includes putting up YOUR CREDIT CARD for the room block and taking the risk if no one pays you will still be stuck paying for the rooms you blocked off! You can make all of the phone calls to and make all the contacts to set up the itinerary(sp) for the entire weekend! You can also deal with the stress of making the last minute changes when one of your contacts calls you and cancels when you are enroute on I5 south headed toward them and you are less than an hour away! You can also worry about 20 plus Z's and pray that no one gets lost or acts stupid the entire weekend. Oh and that person can carry the stress of everyone looking toward them to keep things going that weekend! Last but not least...When you contact people and ask them to come out and hang out and take a tour of their facilities, Realize if and only if someone invites you into their place THAT BUSINESS IS DOING YOU A FAVOR! Sure it also helps them for us to show up with wallets because we may buy something too but it would be rude to show up hours late. We must be on time! it is the only respectful thing to do! I am sure the employee that is showing us around their facility could be doing alot of other things such as his or her job rather than messing around with us! Oh and if you are the person that sat at the restaurant with us and heard us say, "everyone please go to the restroom now because we will not be stopping anymore until we arrive at our first destination if you must stop, please make sure you have directions with you and we will meet you there" and you are mad because we would not stop a caravan of 20 or so Z's because of the degree of difficulty to do that in that area, well I don't know what to tell you...Now unless you have done all of that and you are the one spreading rumors out there and you know who you are STHU!! Speedyzx I say we kill UZW and bring it back down to a small group of us like it used to be in the past! People do not appreciate anything nowdays they just look for ways to complain! This is exactly what most of the founding people of clubz were worried about happening years ago! I say we cut our losses and kill the event from here on out! With all of the bad rumors out there I do not want our club that we have worked so hard to build to suffer! I hate to say it but I could never understand in the past why the founders were against stuff like this getting too big but I understand now! Kill the event and we will get a small group of us (5 or 6) people togeter and we will go and have fun that weekend.
