rear wheel possible and the lightest weight. I've read that 1# off of the rotational weight (i.e. wheel, rotor, axle, etc.) equates to a 4# decrease in the unsprung (cargo, for example) weight. The smaller wheel will give you shorter gearing compared to a large wheel. That's why guys like Arnel use 15" Volk (light) wheels for track use. This is also a good approach for autocross where you need good/quick boost response (well, road courses too). Good luck, SS
