Message	I saw the post below talking about speaker pods and I thought I would post a couple quick shots of something that I am tinkering with... OpticalZ32 got me started thinking about this project and I have told him not to hold his breath, but I am nearing the point of making a prototype. I started by digitizing my hatch area into a 3d cad program, then made a pod with a 3/4 inch offset. I will then use my fabrication shop's CNC mill or laser cutting machine to cut them from MDF. The advantage of this is one could accurately control the volume of the box, potential for porting as well as the ability to add some nice shapes.. soooo on to the pics.... The ridges would be sanded smooth allowing a perfect fit in the rear and leave options open for how you would want to finish the box... ie leather, suede etc.. Room for t-tops-----v Please let me know what you think!
