i'm not too thrilled with using di-electric grease like everyone on this forum. i really don't want a gunk of grease between the connector and harness. i read in search that some use wd40. is this safe to use on the pins and inside the harness connectors themselves? do i need to wait until it's thoroughly dry before reconnecting, or is it okay to just spray and connect? is this effective in preventing corrosion? thanks for your input.
