The Side mounts on the market for the Z32 are plenty efficient for any street driven Z32. The other factors that front intercoolers create (like engine cooling, Air filter heat, poor intercooler plumbing Ect) make then a poor option. The filters can be moved to the side to fix that problem, But cooling the Z even with a good radiator is borderline on extreme hot days and blocking the already limited air flow is not the best idea.For a race car with HUGE turbos that is only going down the quarter mile they make since. I believe I saw a pic of the intercooler you are referring to and it looked like it would work awesome on a race car with the straighter piping and good tank design if it is the one I am thinking of. It did keep the air charge on the proper sides :) sage
