Message	1) I wasn't saying it's dumb to do a V-8 nor that simple is not elegant. I was saying that there is (for some) a reward for taking what came with the car and working on it to produce as much reliable horsepower as possible vs. dropping in a larger motor that makes more power right out of the crate. 2) It's only an opinion expressed by me and not a viewpoint of the general population of the forum. I'm not taking offense to your post, but wanted to keep things in the proper perspective to avoid a major flame war over which is better a V-6 or a V-8. Thanks.
