Please don't flame me when I tell you I lost my only (titanium) copy of my Z key. Its a 90 so I assume Nissan can't look up the key-code based on the VIN# (past '94). Im actually at college now and my car is sitting on the hill, I have no key. From searching, I discovered that the key-code isn't even printed in the glove-box of a 1990. I can probably manage to break-in to my Z or have a locksmith come out here and open it up if there is something I need out of the car. I really do not want to have to end up replacing all locks and ignition in the car! Does anyone have a solution? Is a locksmith able to make a new key based on the lock? Would I be able to remove a t-top and take that lock on the t-top to a locksmith and have a new key made based on that lock? Would it work in all the locks and ignition? Thanks!
