Message 1) what made you decide to chaneg the BLOSE out? Are the apeakers "squeling", 'cause if they are the amps are toast and yuo will need an aftermarket one.

2) I wanted to make my stereo system the least invasive I could to the car. I just got an adapter to fit the factory Nissan wire harness and soldered and heat-shrinked it to my aftermarket head unit so it can just plug-in and un-plug easily. Then, I muonted my amps(one under each seat) The passenger seat has plenty of room under it for most amps, but if you have a power drivers seat(I don't) you might have some clearance problems. I like the under seat location as it is well hidden and difficult for a thief to get to without removing the seats. I pushed the RCA cables up under the center console along the passenger side and ran them behind the panel that is behind the seats down to the amps. I ran the power wire along the drivers' side door sill under the rug. I ran the amplified speaker wires back up the console on the DRIVERS side(keep them away form the RCA's so as not to induce noise into the system). Then, I spliced the amplified speake wires to the aftermarket harness I used on the deck and connected the amplified speake wires to teh stock speaker wire locations. Then, in the doors I jusy bypassed the amps and extended the stock speaker wires to the new speakers. This way no extra wires had to be run out to the doors or back to the rear speakers. It has worked great and looks flawless.

3) I have 6 1/2's separates up front and 5 1/4's in the rear. There is dynomat on the MDF adapters for the speakers, not sure how much it really helps.

Hope this gives you some insight, it is not really difficult, just tedious. take you time and you will be happy. Oh yeah, make SURE you put a good inline fuse just off the battery supply for the system!

Mike
