Message Good morning guys, how 'bout that game lastnight? Pretty boring huh? How many punts were their 16, 17? Or how bout that #52's dance right as he was introduced onto the field?

Well I'm gonna do it. Replace the Bose system. Whewww finally said it. Now it's just getting all the info to do it myself.

I think I'm gonna go with Kappas all the way around, since they're a reputable company and I have heard and read many great reviews on these speakers.

Ok, now down to the nitty gritty. What all do I need? Yes, I know a reciever, speakers, special bose interface harness and Nissan speaker plates and a possible amp. But anything else?

How hard was it to install the front speaker plates and then the speakers? Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't 90 models have a differant size front speaker then the 91+ Z's? Do I need a special connector to hook the aftermarket speakers up? Or are there + and - wires going to the speakers from the amp that I can just wire to the new speakers? Or is there a special adapter? I don't know. How much more difficult would it be to compe back later in the future and install an amp to the speakers? And how hard is it to re-wire the system if I do get an amp?

Same ?'s for the rear speakers?

This is a budget upgrade for the Z, and owuld like to keep it that way by installing everything myself. I have tickered a little with stereo and speakers in the past, but nothing to brag about.

And what about dynamatting? Would you guys recomend dynomating the doors and hatch? I do not plan to add a subwoofer @ all. But would the dynamat help reduce the outside noise?

-Yes, I did check the FAQ's got some info but couldnt find answers to my ?s'

Have a nice day
