loss of traction in the rear. you probably should have given light throttle input to get the mass of the car back on the rear wheels, giving them some traction (even in the wet). when you lifted off, the weight shifted all the way to the front of the car, further reducing traction on the rear and since you were in the middle of countersteering to the left, the car spun counterclockwise. at least you didn't try hitting the brakes. in a RWD car the best solution is countersteer and give some light throttle input...not too much or it will just whip around the other way. don't worry about it, you didn't hit anything. it happens to the best of us. i had the same thing happen, except i was driving an NSX, and i DID hit something. :(
