Message	1. start engine, belt squeal noise for 5 sec 2. when revving up, loud knocking sound at 1500-2000 rpm only. no knock at idle, nor rpms above this. from some searching, i think it might be the timing belt tensioner? what are the repercussions of a broken timing belt tensioner? do you think this is the right diagnosis? if so, is there a way i can visually inspect it easily without taking my whole z apart? i want to make sure my z doesn't die on the way to saturday's meet. thanks. mike zxredline@yahoo.com
