Message Well, I have an electric fan so I doubt the clutch is an issue (check profile). I assume the the lack of a shroud is causing some increased heat. I have a newly built engine and have flushed it several times using different amounts of water/radiator fluid which makes nominal differences. The t-stat is installed correctly. I have no leaks of any kind, I recently put in dye in all fluids to check for leaks. I guess I assumed that other people with high horsepower engines and maybe my radiator would have similar problems. I highly doubt I have a machanical failure, maybe a design failure. Thank you for your responses.
