Did you make sure to install the T-Stat with the little nipple on TOP?

Are you sure little chunks of Permatex didn't break off the water pump seal and lodge through the water passages, blocking flow? This happens when people go Permatex-Crazy with the seals.

Are you sure your fan clutch is working well?

How much would it suck if you "upgraded" to dual fan, and that didn't fix the problem?
