Message sheet metal in and grinded it down. From there the body shop covered it to a vanish. I don't think they used bondo but some other type of filling putty. It didn't cost me anything but about $50 extra for the body man to cover it. I still had to order the kit from Auto-loc which was $140 total. Otherwise that is all it took. I don't like the under the car emergency button.... I just utilize the rear hatch. So if the lock actuators ever die on you, I would just climb through the hatch to open the doors.

I originally said I wouldn't do it on my daily, just cause I like the look of a more stock looking vehicle for daily driving. But that is just me. But it's completely safe for everyday use. I plan on taking my daily to the tracks once in a while and track officialy really give you an issue for shaved door handles (safety issues).

But it does look very clean on the car. Good luck
