I have an RPS sport sprung 6puck clutch for my TT and its already blown, after 15k miles. I've talked to a few knowledgeble people and they've told me that the 6pucks don't last much past 20k miles. I absolutely love the clutch and i dont really mind doing the clutch job myself. I just needed to know if i just got an new Friction disc (6puck) would it be okay to reuse my RPS pressure plate, without trying to have it resurfaced or anything? I know i will need to get my flywheel resurfaced. Should i grease up the springs on the pressure plate before reinstallation. On the Down pipe question is has anyone had either GMS SS split flange downpipes, or the Z1 ceramic coated Split downpipes? I see on GMS's site the split flange down pipes are listed for only $199 in full stainless and the Z1 in ceramic for $395 ( the stainless is only 2.25" and $295) Has anyone had either one of these and also the fitments. I would like to go with the GMS due to the price, but "you get what you pay for" gets to me in the back of my mind, so i wanted a review on them. I have 3" test pipes, and i also would like to know how i could bolt up the GMS or the Z1 down pipes to 3" test pipes and if there are any problems with leaking or anything.
