...I've done a lot of travelling to places other than the USA. I've been in Amsterdam and the UK, haven't been to Germany. My quick opinions on the issue........ - There's always something to complain about, no matter where you live. - Yeah, Europe has great mass transit and national health care, but that's probably why taxes are so high, and why gas is so expensive. It ends up, in my view, leveling everybody, and it's harder for any person trying to excel to get ahead. For those folks who want to work hard, it seems harder to get much extra for it. - I'm not comfortable with the things you mentioned, like stuff on billboards, etc. I do not want the US to become lax in that regard, I'd rather that we remain conservative in that respect. Those are my opinions only, so they mean about that much.
