| I searched all over when I did my G35. Well... here is the breakdown and any good tint shop has a copy of these laws laying around somewhere. Just ask them to show it to you and make photo copies of it to carry it in your car, just in case some PO gives you a hard time. Windsheild... 6 inches from top.
Fronts........ 70% (light)
Back.......... As dark as you like.
back windshield... Nothing reflective (like mirror finish). PO for most parts don't bother you... unless you drive a honda and you look the part of a ricer.
Never got pulled over in my G35... with tinted windows.... doing 85 and no front plates. Most of the time... they smile... thumbs up... and drive off.
In my old car... TL... got pulled over many times. If they needed a reason... they'll make one up. In those cases your best defense is knowing the laws.
