Message This is my main point. If 6061-T6 works for these other big companies, then why would I need to change it. Now as far as the 7075 over the 6061, I was told by the shops that it would be better to use. They may been just trying to sell me something to make a profit. But since got the material myself and both cost the same I went with the 7075 as it was explained to be better what what I was using it for and was goignto be easier on the machine itself. If it turns out I need to go back to 6061-T6, it won't be a problem at all since I'm doing the work.
