Message GTR has a rear wheel drive biased AWD. The only time the power goes to the front wheels is when the car thinks it needs it(most of the time in the corners). This is why the GTR launches and accelerates in a very different manner. There is no way supra can keep up even with more horsepower, its simply an inferior car.

: the Z finished a second behind the VR-4, even with error thats alot of distance between! Also, I've seen this japanese video where a V-Spec GT-R 33 beat a supra TT by alot and it stayed ahead the whole way on the quarter mile. thats 280 HP AWD vs rear drive 320 HP (or 280 HP for Japanese supras, I don't know). Everyone expects the rear wheel drive should be ahead in the quarter mile because it has more max HP at the wheels as opposed to an AWD but thats not true because there AWD control (forget whats it called) that converts power from AWD to RWD when nessary (like going at its top speed). Also, the GT-R killed the Rx-7 (which probably has a higher HP to weight ratio) by alot.
