All they had to do was wait for Nissan to come out with their supercar first, then they copied it and one-uped a few things. OEM suppliers also have to deal with things like noise, feel and ride quality. Noise being the only one which actually affects the brakes, but you get my point. If you don't, here it is again. I have stainless lines, axxis pads and brembo blanks, and my car stops to my satisfaction. I bet if I disabled the ABS temporarily, I could lock up all fours. Also, you can't fit much bigger brakes under the stock wheels. The calipers themselves are great units. Not making excuses, just giving the facts.
