Nissan is a company. Like any other company they exist to make a profit. Granted they have responsibility for their products in the realm of safety and product malfunction issues, but I don't think they should be responsible for the aftermarket climate surrounding one particular vehicle. Granted some aftermarket parts aren't cheap, but what do you expect for a high performance sports car that originally retailed for around $35k? If anything, I would say there is quite a selection of parts for resonable prices as well as a constantly growing wealth of knowledge out there (thanks to this site).
