| Alright, im in the process of a tt swap and this question really goes out to the ones that have dealt with this issue, but opinions are greatly welcomed. I wanted to know what my best bet is when looking for a motoer for my tt swap. Im kinda trying to stay away from just a "misc" twin turbo engine that came out of a beat up z, not really know full well what is wrong with the motor. My other choices are z1 motorsports stage1 performance engine longblock 4200 + 1000 core charge: oversize forged pistons and new rings new nissan rods and main bearings new oil pump arp connecting rod bolts rotating assembly balanced block decked 3 angle valve job new valve seals, stems height checked, and springs heads surfaced and pressure tested exhaust valves checked and replaced if nessecary rebuilt hydraulic lifters cams checked and journals polished (add 1000): stage 1 headwork arp main studs ceramic coated pistons and moly sides or Sgp racing Upgraded Shortblock: $3300 + $750 core Block oil passages cleaned Block redecked Block water passage bored out for more water to back cylinders Block Bored and Honed using a Torque Plate Crank balanced and welded on center weight Crank journals polished New bearing and rings *Eagle Rods ARP Rod Bolts Ceramic Coated Weisco Pistons .040 over or sgp racing Basic Long Block: $4600 + $1500 core Block oil passages cleaned Block redecked Block water passage bored out for more water to back cylinders Block Bored and Honed using a Torque Plate Crank balanced and welded on center weight Crank journals polished Shot peened stock rods ARP Rod Studs New bearing and rings Ceramic Coated Weisco Pistons .040 over Heads oil passages cleaned Heads redecked Ported exhaust and intake runners 3 angle valve job New Valve stem seals New Nissan Head gaskets New Nissan Oil Pump New Nissan Cam seals New Nissan Timing Belt New Nissan Timing Belt Tensioner
