Message	1. They are metal 2. Don't add as much weight (I believe), since it is using mainly existing parts on the car already, and 3. Paul Bailey doesn't look as factory as these, b/c they don't have that flat spot on the edge on the lip of the fender..these do, and these match the front flares perfectly..it really is nice.
