Found some interesting info about the Interceptor in the movie, "The Wraith".

Thought it was interesting that it was a twin turbo....

The surviving car was sold for over $1 million dollars.

It was track-tested to a top speed of 194.8 mph.
It's transmission is the same one in the 85 Daytona Turbo.
The engine is the same 2.2 liter that was used in the Daytona, Aries, LeBarons, and Lancers (lancers rule, kthx!), but was a mid-engine placement.
The engine in this car was a 16 valve twin-turbo design that put out over 400hp@7000 rpm, and 300ft-lbs of torque.
A lot of the engine's design was put to use in the later IROC Daytona and Spirit R/T.
The M4S designation stands for Mid-engine 4 cylinder Sport.
It's one of a very few cars that had a perfect 50/50 weight distribution.
The 15 inch aluminum wheels (they had gold trim in the movie) eventually became options on Daytonas, Acclaims and Chrysler minivans.

The turbo Interceptor car is now available in a newer model for about $70,000.00. Badge as the "wraith II" , It was origionally developed by a company called Dalesar and is now available for purchase through a multi-millionare family in Pennsylvania.
