Message ...my opinion is that for a given oil fill level, the synthetic will be marginally better because it resists aeration better(I've heard that from multiple knowledgeable sources). However, if filled high enough, the crank, which is turning one million mph, is still going to whip it up into a froth, creating significant drag.
