: Well if you guys don't already know I own a 1990 300ZX 2+2 Stage lll+ and a 1998 Supra Twin Turbo BPU ( HKS Intake and Exhaust). These cars sit in the garage all week for the most part. I haven't driven them in almost 2 weeks, so tonight I decided to take them both out, the weather is nice and cool here in Orlando, FL. tonight. Well I finally caught up with this Yellow Rx-7 TT running around town here. Going down HWY 436 northbound I see him ahead about 4 cars in front of me in the left lane. So my "silver shark" (the Supra)and me try to get past slower traffic and run even or behind him. At the light of 436 and Hwy 50 were even-me in the far right lane, he in the far left, and a old Celica in the middle with 6 mexicans in it. Lights turn green, he hits it hard, gets a jump on me, but no fear the twin tubos kick in and I go through him like a hot knife through butter at around 80+ mph, he turns into a yellow dot, and I ease off once I hit 120 mph (such smooth power in this car) It was really no match, he was all show and no go!!. Thats such a great stretch of road to speed, he, he, he... rare in Orlando!!! : The street race against the Eclipse GST in my 300ZX, is one of many Eclipse kills, however this one had an Exhaust and probably intake and such add ons. Once again same MO (some punk kid with his yellow and red baseball hat on sideways, and dripping with Gold necklaces'!!!) I'm just cruising in the Z at around 50 mph, and I see these headlights coming up fast behind me. Its a red Eclipse, and he pulls right next to me at the light Curry Ford Rd, and looks over at me Checking out the Z, and leans out the window and says "thats a nice Z" man! Then he goes off about his car and what he has done. The light turns green, and he and I take off nice and easy, and run even for a while, then all of the sudden he hits it, and gets way in front of me, but gets caught at the light. This time, I'm thinking its time to really test this kids car. Needless to say were even at the light, and we both hit it -he gets about a half car length on me, but I hit 3rd, and pull hard on him,and then pass him at around 65 mph, and then from there he was history, I think he gave up soon after I passed him so quickly (after I got the Z's weight moving!!!)On one note he did have nice looking wheels, though they didn't match the front wheels (new style?? I don't know) : It was a good night, and I had a little fun, so thanks for listening, because if the wife found out what I do when I say I'm going to "warm up the engines and tires" on the cars, she would never let me hear the end of it!!!! Plus she bithches I'm gone too long!! : Oh by the way, me and the wife bought a 2001 Nissan Maxima SE (STERLING MIST COLOR)Saturday. It s her car (an auto), but needless to say, I influenced the purchase, they are great cars, and yes the tail lights have grown on me. Plan to keep it (like the Z and Supra) for a many a year!! : Keep them on the streets guys!!! : Ryan : 1990 Nissan 300ZX 2+2 (Stage lll+) : 1998 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo BPU : 2001 Nissan Maxima SE : 2000 Mazda Protege LX (The everyday beater !!!)
