West Coast Nationals is an event put on by Motorsports Auto and is scheduled for April 25-27. According to Seedy's post, the tt.net banquet is at the Queen Mary which is about 2 miles from the Hilton Long Beach. Most everything is close to the convention hotel except for the track day at Willow Springs. That's about a two hour drive from the hotel. You should be fine staying at the Hilton Long Beach. We've already booked a room there as well.
