In that size... Let me say that the dry traction and grip is amazing. The set of tires I had before were Yoko AVS Sports, and though I don't have a fair comparison because I'm making more horsepower now than before, at the end of their lifespan they were terrible! When I first got the AVS sports, I didn't have traction problems... well I was only stage II at the time too. After advancing to stage 5 and beyond and as the tires wore out, I had no straight line traction in 1st or 2nd, whatsoever when there was boost present. Even third would spin on dry pavement at times. This was on stock wheels, btw. Going to the new wheels and the BFG's, I am amazed. Even with over 400 whp, the tires don't spin in any gear (including 1st). Cornering performance is excellent... they just keep on gripping. According to Luke @ tirerack, they are better in the dry than S03's even. Since you never drive in the rain, this should probably be your first choice (S03's only being better in wet). I've had the BFG's in the rain a few times, and you just have to go a little slower (like you should anyway). Taking a corner a little too fast in the wet will cause the rear end to unexpectedly swing out on you, and don't even try going into boost. I used to hit boost all the time in the rain on the AVS sports because it's fun, but it's very hard to control the spinnage with the KD's in the rain... the last time I tried hitting boost in 2nd gear, the car darted over one traffic lane to the left immediately (luckily there was nobody else out). They really are just lousy when it's wet out, and dangerous unless you take it easy. Not to the point where you have to pull over, however. For dry only grip, you can't go wrong with the KD's. They come highly recommended here. My biggest beef with them is the weight. I believe they are close to 30 lbs a tire (being a weight fanatic that I am, that's terrible... but it's worth it for the grip).
