Message	Ive never heard such rumors. As far as I know, the JSPEC and US Spec engines are the same except for the deletion of VTC on 1996 models, 95+ fuel rail/plenum changes, and of course the Automatic vs. Manual transmission camshafts. I think the automatic version might put out less HP than a manual transmission version, based solely on the camshafts. I believe your information is wrong. Eric L.
