Like this weekend on my way to E-town for some test & tune down the dragstrip: I get on the NJ Turkpike heading south. As I merge into the 1st lane, I see a late model Porsche 911. Nice black one. Looks stock. I'm just cruizing, minding my own business and he rolls up along side for a bit just to take a quick look and then falls back. Oh, I have no stickers on my car anymore. Just the white TE-37's in the rear with stock wheels in the front. And he tails me in the other lane for a little while. He did egg me on or anything, but I KNEW he wanted a race. So I test him. Little gas. He's with me. A little more. He's with me. WOT!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's with me, but as I look in my rear view mirror, he's getting smaller and smaller. :-) I only take it to 90 and slow down to the first lane cause I gotta get off. Oh, no traffic. I roll my window down and give the guy a thumbs up. He nodded and smiled even tho he just got is ass kicked with only 15 lbs boost on the stock turbos. :-) He pointed to confirm that I was getting off. I nodded. He wanted to race again. But even so, I was done. Again, most people just want to see what ya got. Give a quick show. And call it a day. That's what I do. I don't feel the need to take it to 180mph! A quick spool and then the blow-offs is enough. You wanna race, follow me to the track. :-)
