I too used to believe that the length was a factor in hp gains until I pulled the plugs of my friend's '94 Super Strong TT. He had and I don't know the part number, (I'll pull the owners manual when I get home) but it was an NGK racing plug similar to the 11B that was shorter. I'm thinking maybe a colder range. On the dyno with exact same tuning and mods, he gained 6 more to the wheels and 1 more pound of torque. Now, my previous '94TT was running Bosch Platiniums which are shorter than the PFR6B-11B but ran just as strong, so with those to factors, that throws the length theory out the window. I truly do believe in the NGK's but it was worth a shot to give the Denso's a shot and so far it runs just as strong if not stronger.
