nothing against Kyle or Greg, but most any mechanical engineer will tell you different. While in most cases it probably won't damage the engine, it is certainly better to have a damper than not. Nissan didn't put it on there for nothing. FWIW...Mike Smith recommends the Fisher pulley because it is a true torsional balancer. He is the tech that built Mike Kojioma's car that you've seen in SCC. Also, the engine builder I used for my engine does not recommend the solid hub pullies either. FWIW.
