Message I posted something about this yesterday but there were not too many replies. Hopefully this will have a few. When buying an EGT gauge, particularly a dual EGT gauge from Westach, what is a good heat range for the TTZ? The options are 100F-1900F, 350C-950C, 400F-1600F, and 700F-1700F. These are all 2" round gauges with two needles/temp. ranges in them. You can see them here La-Z-Link. I know 1600 is the real Max I'd ever need to know, but is it worth sacrificing small scale readability and being able to monitor down to 100F or will 400F be fine for a low end? How about 700F as a low end so 1700F can be seen?
