I was just thinking, and maybe some of you can back me up here... But whenever you log into tt.net, does every day, every question, every answer seem repetitive to the point of the standard answer is always "Do a search"? I mean don't get me wrong, I enjoy reading the docs, news, the posted pictures, the informative information in the tech section, the events, a place where you can buy and sell your goods, and everything that goes along with being here. But at some point, does every other question, and every other answer seem either less and less enthusiastic, and more degenerative to referring to the "Search" feature for answers? Now I've been on this forum for some time now, and as some of you old timers have referred back to how great this forum was back in the "good old days" in past posts, do any of you think that besides the occasional "here's my car out of the paint shop" pictures, MAYBE there should be a seperate designated (and organized) interactive page with a picture archive of the most commonly asked questions. For example, some wheel and tire specialty companies have interactive sections on their sites where the customer can see what tires and wheels would look like on their car. What if there was something similar here, but instead of stopping with just wheels, why not go further with exhausts, various interior colors, various aftermarket kits, front mount intercoolers, and other visible bolt-on parts. Maybe even a section of dyno numbers at various engine stages (with detailed footnotes on timing, compressions, air/fuel, etc.), and a Motorsport 101 guide for those less mechanically inclined. I can imagine the time and the manpower it would take to do something like that, but with admin's blessing, and a few volunteers, (and with Admin's constant supervision of course), does it seem do-able? Overall, I guess the goal would be to eliminate the repetitious posts, as well as give the newer people more knowledge of the Z, and an opportunity to know the truths and falses of the 300ZX (all models). Because I know when I first got my Z, I had no clue as to what was what, and which aftermarket brand should I go with. Hence my legendary "Stealin" reputation. Anyway... Let the pluses and minuses begin (on the subject, not my paint job..Spee/fourzero).
