Message Short version: Dont do it.

Long version: Molding a body would look great and is worthwhile if you're building strictly a show car. I know that you're not a person who treasures his car and wrapps it in a red ribbon (from our previous conversations), you're a driver! Road vibrations alone are often enough to start causing cracks. Not to mention that you wont be able to park your car anywhere because of all the imbeciles who'll nudge and bump it, that'll crack the hell out of your molded pieces.

It's also expensive in shop labor time, and it may or may not turn out clean, depending on the guy's mood that particular day. The cheap way to do it is to fill all the mating joint with bondo, sand and paint. The REAL way is to rivet steel plates in between the two pieces, then smooth them out, it's difficult and expensive to do it right (just ask Nadir, he had it done the right way).

I think there would be about a million better ways for you to spend your time and energy.

George
