wheel will just stick out 2" more than say, an 18x10 with +49 offset. If you put a 275 or 285 tire on it, the tire sidewall will slope inwards, this allows it to just barely get into the wheel well when the suspension contracts. This is is you have stock upper rear arms and fenders rolled. When the car lowers, it crabs and offset becomes more negative, that extra 2" now becomes almost 0".
