Message	The tire was probably deflated at some point and driven on. That thing is scarier in real life than it is in the pictures, I was not even comfortable being near it...kept picturing some sort of massive explosion if it let go :) Apparently this sort of failure is not uncommon, a bunch of people on another forum quickly said it had been run on while flat....
