:you end up having all these auxillary systems that you have to maintain and ensure works correctly all the time or you could blow something up... worry = not fun. Also as you get to larger setups, you end up with loud external fuel pumps, loud exhausts, loud headers, all sorts of electronics, etc; and you will notice yourself enjoying the car less. Stick to a 600 class turbo (TD05, Sport 600, GT2530, etc) or below IMHO... Everyone loves to see big HP cars, but nobody wants to deal with the hassle of actually owning one. I think I'll take your advice and go for a practical street setup when the time comes.
