If you drive your car for short trips, the exhaust system does not heat up enough to evaporate the water in the system after you shut it off and it accumulates in the muffler usually. My mother bought a new 2000 Honda Accord, it is 100% garaged and hasn't seen rain since Nov. '99. She drives it to the store and back mostly(a grand total of 3,xxx miles!) and the mufflers are rusting from the inside-out. Milk is for babies........ Got Bourbon?
