I can't believe you didn't stop :( At the first sign of problems, pull it over. I understand it was raining but the alternative is much worse. I should know, I did the exact same thing on my first car. The poor Mitsubishi didn't have a chance :( Also, since this looks like the beginnings of a "I'm blaming my downpipes" thread, just remember that parts can break and anything can happen on modified sports cars man. If you do proceed with that, get some pictures of everything and save it all. Good luck with everything and make sure you still get in touch with Greg on the DPs.
