Well. just when I thought it couldn't get worse. LOL yeah right. It did. I did my Tein Flex on the front today, and while I was down there I did Tein Tension Rods, and TBO Adjustable Uppers. I also checked out my broken Greg Dupree downpipe and decided I wanted to run the stock precats before I ran it again. So I took off the DP and guess what I find? It had tilted into the turbo, grinding most of the Exhaust Turbine away into oblivion. OH MAN I thought, that SUCKS! So I put my precats back on, and tightened up my suspension. Then I put my 300 Degreez Brake Cylinder brace on (BTW that thing rocks, NOTICABLE differance. It feels like I have stainless brake lines, which I don't have on yet.) So I close it all up and drive it around. WOW, the turn in is incredible. It is a totally different car. But anyways, back to the story. I drove the car around for maybe 20 minutes. I only got on it once for about 5 seconds. Never went past 60 mph. I went to blockbuster parking lot when I saw a friend and I talked to him for about 5-10 minutes, the whole time with my car running. I get back in, leave the parking lot, and a horrible ticking noise starts. VERY LOUD, and the car is stumbling VERY bad and it wouldn't pull vacuum. So I went to a parking lot and tried to figure it out. It was pouring out, so I decided to drive it back, for better or worse. A 15 mile trip ahead of me I floored it in 3rd gear and it would not go past 3200rpm. So thats how I drove it. When I am a half mile from my place, I hear when sounds to be buckets of ball bearings dropping on my car. Just the worst metal-metal sounds you've ever heard, my oil pressure drops to zero, and it stumbles worse than before. I had trouble keeping it at 5 mph. I get in the drive way and it dies immediatly. I get out the flash light just because I know what happened. And in my passenger side exhaust pipe there are chunks of turbine blades, chunks of melted aluminum, and chunks of cracked aluminum. It looks like confetti in there, LOL. So now I have a real good reason to my built bottom end in. Im pretty sure I'll need some heads too. =( I can't wait to see the desruction. In case anyone hasn't been following my recent misfortune posts, here is the run down of what has happened to my car in the past 3 days. I accidentally crack my High Mount tailight insert trying to plug it in. (Brand new.) Driver side splash panel catches wind and tears apart. (Brand new part) Downpipe cracks, and falls into turbo destroying turbine blades. (10 month old DP's) Hit a racoon at 65mph. Destroying my pass. side splash panel. (ALSO brand new.) Paint chips off BRAND NEW paint job, on bottom of JDM bumper. (2 things caused this. Jackass at body shop not sanding the fascia, and not using flex on it. And the damn coon) Horn stops working. Pistons falls aparts, destroying the pass. side turbo, and the whole entire engine. (there is a pool of oil/metal bits in my exhaust pipe =P ) Now all I am waiting for is a meteorite to come smash my car. What next?
