The perfomance(speed) has been improving lately though. I think you guys have a mature and good design for the forum. Keep it up. Anyway Damon your tech section helped us a lot when we were doing the 60k on my car. Thanks for the great work compiling the tech section nicely. I haven't seen any other site that compares to the tech section here ;-). : Same exact script, just accessing a different part of the database. : People just need to be aware that there's more then one speciallized content forum for what used to be the regular discussion forum. People don't seem to have a problem finding & using the Classified or Events forums. We set it up to start with the General forum because when Joe Newbie posts anything, we'd rather have it posted in the General forum & have it moved if necessary... more then likely it's going to be a General Forum question. Actually Joe Newbie is going to be more aware of the Tech forum/General forum setup because they never saw the old all-purpose forum. : We're working on adding an option to allow you to select *what* forum/page you open with on the new server. I think that's a better solution then throwing them into a front splash/menu screen thing (I find those pretty damn annoying).
