Message	I had it custom made for me. When the seat is position and the side bars are removed you can't even tell there is a rollcage. I had the Autopower cage and i kept hitting the back of my head on the rear bar and I didn't think that was safe. So in answer to your question I lost zero comfort and the side bars are removable.
